It was family photo time for the Salvatorians last week when nearly 150 Salvatorian sisters, priests, deacons, brothers and lay men and women gathered in the Milwaukee area for a national assembly of their North American members.
He was born in Arkansas but grew up in Milwaukee’s inner city, and St. Benedict the Moor Franciscan Ministry played a big part in his upbringing.
When students left St. Mary School in West Bend on June 2, the doors closed for the final time.

“Papa Z,” as he’s known around the parish, is Fr. David Zampino, one of the Milwaukee Archdiocese’s recently ordained priests. And, yes, he’s married.
