Approximately 1,000 teens and their chaperones attended the Wisconsin Catholic Youth Rally March 26 “Break the Chains” at Mount Mary College, Milwaukee. The daylong event, sponsored by WYRE Ministries, included a presentation by Jesuit Fr. Phil Hurley, a Eucharistic procession, recitation of the rosary, opportunities for confession, Mass celebrated by Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki and live music. A rally for middle school students took place the following day. The presentation, created by Amy E. Taylor, Catholic Herald Staff, contains Catholic Herald photos by John E. Kimpel and music is by Milwaukee artist Jeanna Salzer.
