Three Discalced Carmelites were ordained to the priesthood Aug. 15 at the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill.
Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob presided at the ordination Mass for Fr. John-Magdalene, OCD, Fr. Isaiah, OCD, and Fr. Moses, OCD, members of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province.
The newly ordained priests returned to the Basilica the following day to celebrate their first Masses. Fr. Moses celebrated at 8 a.m., Fr. John-Magdalene at 10 a.m. and Fr. Isaiah at 2 p.m.
The ordination drew family, friends, fellow Carmelites and faithful to Holy Hill for the celebration.
