I logged on today to TheKnot.com, where I have an account that I occasionally use for invitations and placeholders. The bottom of the left hand corner reminded me that I had 32 days until my wedding day…yikes.

This is what I have left on my “to-do” list:

  1. Tailor dress
  2. Buy bridal undergarments
  3. Pay DJ
  4. Finalize flowers
  5. Choose places for photos
  6. Practice “first kiss” for ceremony (Matt must either dip me or cup my face)
  7. Buy marriage license
  8. Enjoy bachelorette party
  9. Finalize honeymoon plans
  10. Get used to living with a boy

All in all, I think we’re doing pretty well. Most of the larger items (choosing centerpieces, bridesmaid dresses, etc.) are taken care of. Now all we have to do is start paying our vendors (which is tough for me, because I’ve really gotten quite used to having such a large savings account).

Getting married is pretty stressful, I’ve come to realize for about the umpteenth time. The worst are the dreams I keep having about my wedding dress: it’s my wedding day and I forgot to clean/tailor/press it, it’s pink and I never realized it, it’s too big/too little, etc. Sometimes, I wake up in the morning so exhausted. I can’t wait until all this is over and I’m just married to Matt. I have a feeling that once we get past it, I will lose the unwanted weight and start to have restful nights once again.

Pray for me! I will try my best to keep you all updated!
