Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob celebrated Mass with the Catholic faith community of SPRED on July 11 at St. Casimir Church, Milwaukee, joining friends, families and catechists from across the archdiocese.
Built on the belief that every person is created in the image of God and has a rightful place in the Church, SPRED, short for Special Religious Development, serves people of all ages and abilities throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, fostering belonging, dignity and full participation in the sacramental life of the Catholic community. The ministry also prepares its friends to receive the sacraments and participate more fully in parish life. “At SPRED, we help our friends to receive their sacraments,” said Outreach Coordinator Kate Walker.
