If you could dine with anyone, living or dead, who would it be? My grandfather, because I never got the chance to know him well and I can use his advice from time to time.

Who has made the biggest impact upon you? My (St. Lawrence Seminary) freshman history teacher, Mr. Krieg. He and I got along well and he has helped me through a part of my life when I was going through many changes.

What does your normal weekend look like? Get up, eat something with friends, hang out with my friends, go out with people, sometimes do a little bit of studying, hang out some more with friends, and then go to bed around 4 a.m.

Favorite Bible story/Scripture passage/prayer: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Favorite quote: “At the end of the game, the king and the pawn go back in the same box,” – old Chinese proverb

What was your confirmation name? Gabriel, because I believe that we are all called to be messengers of God.

What do you enjoy most about going to Mass? I really love the music at St. Lawrence Seminary Masses.

Favorite pastime/hobby/activity: Racquetball!

Favorite meal; dessert: Rice with sautéed vegetables and sweet and sour sauce; Lefse (Lefse is a Norwegian dessert that my high school woodshop teacher would make once a year for the ethnic foods night we had)

What is the most important thing you want to accomplish in life? A stable future for my kids

One thing that makes you unique: My ability to love like I’ve never been hurt. (A friend that I was close to told me that after she had hurt me deeply and I looked over it for the sake of friendship)

How do you live your faith every day? I always try and do acts of kindness every day.
