The Karen American Catholic Community held a youth retreat Aug. 5-7 at Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center. Karen Americans are from Asia, mainly Burma, Myanmar and refugee camps in Thailand. The weekend retreat included a closing Mass with Bishop James T. Schuerman. (Photos by Larry Hanson)
