The money raised at the 2022 Archbishop’s Catholic Schools Dinner funds the GIFTS (Grant Initiatives for Today’s Students) grants program. The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has awarded 15 $5,000 GIFTS grants and 13 $10,000 GIFTS grants for a total of $205,000 to 28 archdiocesan schools.

Nativity Jesuit Academy in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant for a project to update books for their Milwaukee and Northwoods campus libraries.

Divine Savior Catholic School in Fredonia is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant for a project to enhance hands-on and play-based learning in their early childhood classrooms.

St. John Vianney in Brookfield is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to implement a Project Lead the Way program to allow all students the opportunity to participate in STEM-based classes.

St. Roman School in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to enhance the Catholic identity of the school by purchasing religious artifacts for all classrooms and common areas in the building.

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to fund a Vocations Discovery Group program for students exploring God’s call for them after high school and beyond.

St. Monica Parish School in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to expand student retreat programs to begin in fourth and fifth grades.

John Paul II Academy in Racine is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to fund a Family Engagement Wellness evening, providing a healthy meal and wellness stations that promote healthy minds.

St. Rita Catholic School in Racine is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to expand outdoor education opportunities, including sun sail shades, age-appropriate seating and raised gardens for young learners to tend.

St. John the Evangelist in Greenfield is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to provide an outdoor education experience for students to learn about and interact with nature.

St. Thomas More High School in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to fund a career education program that provides students with hands-on experiences in many fields while still in high school.

Notre Dame School in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to fund a program initiative to overcome the COVID-19 slide in mathematics. This grant will help ensure students continue to grow after the challenges of recent years.

St. Catherine in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to fund arts education and reading materials through the lens of Black authors, characters and stories through educational innovation.

St. Margaret Mary in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to support Catholic mission and identity through the purchase of religious icons, sacramentals and worship aids that include the Black experience in the Catholic faith.

Northwest Catholic in Milwaukee is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to support their core values of Catholic mission and identity by purchasing items that highlight the Black experience in the Catholic faith.

St. Mary’s Springs Academy in Fond du Lac is receiving a $5,000 GIFTS grant to support an environmental sciences class in which students raise trout from eggs to fry, monitor tank water quality, engage in stream habitat study, learn to appreciate water resources, begin to foster a conservation ethic and grow to understand ecosystems.

St. Gregory the Great in Milwaukee is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to help increase Latino enrollment by creating a stronger connection between Latino families and the school, while fostering a culture of support for academic education and spiritual formation.

Our Lady of Grace Academy in Racine is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund resources specific to mental health services, including a part-time school counselor and telehealth options for students and families.

St. Leonard Catholic School in Muskego is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund the creation of a STEM lab for all students. Some of the spaces will include a working robotics and 3D printing lab and a classroom.

St. Gabriel in Hubertus is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund a response to intervention program. This program will support students with additional learning needs as well as addressing the needs of students who are excelling in academic areas but need a continued challenge so they can work to their full potential.

Divine Mercy in South Milwaukee is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to develop Project Divine Space that includes an outdoor learning classroom, reflection garden and a community garden.

St. Alphonsus in Greendale is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to achieve the school’s goal of building a new website.

St. Catherine’s High School in Racine is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to purchase and provide students and families with mental health services.

St. Frances Cabrini in West Bend is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to create a behavior system called GPS (God’s Positioning System) to help students discover and know what God is guiding them toward.

St. Matthias in Milwaukee is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to replace an old existing playground structure with a new and safer structure for all students and the neighborhood to enjoy.

St. John XXIII in Port Washington is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant will support the Love Grows greenhouse project, which incorporates STEM concepts to support its learners.

Mary Queen of Saints Academy in West Allis is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund a safe play and physical education area on the school property.

St. Joan Antida High School in Milwaukee is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund the Empower Hour program. This program ensures that students graduate on time by giving them non-traditional courses to recover lost academic credits.

Prince of Peace School in Milwaukee is receiving a $10,000 GIFTS grant to fund two free-standing monument signs in front of the two campuses as a form of communication between the school and families.
