Director of Major and Planned Giving
The Priests of the Sacred Heart seeks a full-time experienced, mission-driven Director of Major and Planned Giving to lead strategies that secure major, planned, deferred, and blended gifts supporting its ministries and mission. This position manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, cultivates relationships with donors and professional advisors, and develops personalized solicitation and stewardship plans.
Responsibilities include preparing gift proposals and donor communications, overseeing the administration of estates, trusts, bequests, charitable gift annuities, and other planned gifts, and leading planned giving marketing efforts. The Director collaborates with advancement services to ensure accurate donor records, reporting, and gift stewardship.
Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least ten years of successful fundraising experience, and demonstrated expertise in major and planned giving. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in faith-based organizations and fundraising certifications are preferred. Travel required.
