With the school year fast approaching for many of us (or already started for some of us), this is my time to remind you that the Salzmann Library has religious and other resources available to help you, or your children, excel in their education.

With the school year Whether you are working on a biblical studies project (we will help you sort through our thousands of volumes to find the ones you need) or studying about the sacraments, we have the materials you will need.

Working on a history of Wisconsin in general, or Milwaukee in particular?  Our Wisconsin collection could help.

Need to read about the Popes, whether it is Pope Gregory the Great or Pope Francis?  There are books to be found on either. In Pope Francis’ case, books about him are being published rapidly.

Interested in learning a little Greek or Latin, or taking a Spanish class? We have biblical language workbooks, as well as Spanish primers and language books.  Hebrew language primers are also available.

Whether it is a general book of saints, or a particular saint or religious figure, there is a good chance that we have something available on them. From Athanasius to Xavier.

These are a few examples. You will have to come in and check out for yourselves what else the Salzmann Library has to offer.

Next week will be our monthly book review.  Get excited!

As always, if you have any ideas and comments for things I could change, please let me know. If you have any books that you have read or have read the books I mention, please leave a comment. We here at Salzmann also want to know what people are reading. Comments are always appreciated – anything I can do to make this better I will strive my best to accomplish.
