Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob celebrated Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist on Oct. 18 to mark the 100th World Mission Sunday. Students, families and parishioners from across the Archdiocese of Milwaukee gathered to celebrate the Church’s worldwide missionary work. The celebration included recognition of Mission Art Contest winners and a reception featuring international food, live music and displays from local and international mission partners. Established by Pope Pius XI in 1926, World Mission Sunday unites Catholics in prayer and support for growing churches around the world. (Photos by Steve Sweeney)
