DICKEYVILLE —The Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women will host a tour to the Dickeyville Grotto from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12.
Participants will enjoy breakfast and lunch, view a shrine DVD, have free time and take a guided tour of the grotto, which was created back in the 1930s by a parish priest, Fr. Matthias Wernerus, made of stone, mortar, bright-colored objects collected from all over the world, and tour its many religious and patriotic-themed areas.
The bus will leave at 7:30 a.m. from St. Luke Parish, 18000 W. Greenfield Ave., Brookfield (from San Lucas Drive).
Space for the tour, which is $40 per person, is limited to 55 people.
