WAUKESHA — Catholic Memorial High School recently announced the hiring of Robert T. Hall as its principal. Effective July 1, he will succeed Mark Schmitt, who held the position for the past two years.

Hall brings to the position 15 years of experience, including nine years as a principal and vice-principal in the Waukesha County area. Since 2005, Hall served as principal at Swallow School, a K-8 school in Hartland. Before that he was assistant principal of Waukesha North High School for five years.

A thorough search process was conducted over several months led by CMH president, Fr. Paul Hartmann and a diverse committee comprised of teachers, parents, board members and administrators.

Hall, who earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, said in the Catholic Memorial press release that “The most attractive quality of CMH is the commitment to Catholic faith formation exhibited by the faculty, staff, students and parents. I am invigorated by the CMH community and I look forward to working with all its members to enhance the CMH legacy as a powerful place for student growth and achievement.”
