Colleen Brady

WHITEFISH BAY — Colleen Brady has been selected Dominican High School’s new Head of School, according to a news release issued by the school on March 10.

Brady’s appointment, announced by the Board of Directors of Dominican High School and the sponsoring Sinsinawa Sisters, is effective July 1, 2010. Brady will be responsible for providing leadership and establishing accountability for all aspects of Dominican High School’s mission, academic program and support systems by overseeing the spiritual and professional development of faculty, staff and students.

Brady has a bachelor’s degree in political science and American studies from Carroll College, Montana, and a master’s degree in administrative leadership and instructional supervision from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her post-graduate work includes administrative and curriculum issues and trends in education from UW-Milwaukee and Marquette University, Milwaukee.

Brady’s past leadership roles demonstrated success in development. She has executed multimillion-dollar campaigns, as well as managed a school budget that exceeded $10 million.

According to the news release, “Brady’s vision, energy and leadership in education and development make her an ideal fit for our Head of School position.”
