Director of Youth Ministry

St. Maria Goretti Parish (2500 households), in the Diocese of Madison, WI is looking for a full-time Director of Youth Ministry. The Youth Minister of this parish works closely with the parish leadership nurturing the full, active, and conscious participation of the youth in the prayer and life of the Church. Duties include collaboration with staff, Education Commission, principal, teachers, and parents in setting goals; designing, implementing, and evaluating programs for faith formation and preparation for Confirmation; peer ministry; service/outreach; social events; retreats; and workshops/speakers. Applicant must be a practicing Catholic, with a religious studies, youth ministry, education, a related degree and/or experience. This job requires flexible hours, with some evening and weekend hours. Salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience.
